The Kettlebell Method
I absolutely LOVE the Kettlebell method! I started using Kettlebells in 2014. I have found it’s made a real difference to my body shape and muscular strength. This method now helps me for my Triathlon - but best of all I feel fit, healthy and strong.
I have helped many people sculpt and tone with Kettlebells and the session I run every week has been a popular class on the Bodymode timetable.
There's a reason so many people love kettlebell training, after all, it is an all over body resistance and high intensity cardio workout that only takes half an hour. The average person can burn 400 calories in just 20 minutes with a kettlebell. That's an amazing 20 calories a minute!
What makes the a kettlebell workout so effective, compared with traditional weights like barbells or dumbbells, is that you are moving in different planes of movement. Instead of just going up and down, you're going to move side to side and in and out, so it's much more functional. It's like you move in real life; kettlebells simulate that movement, unlike a dumbbell.
If you're ready to jump in to a Kettlebell class then start with a light weight. Proper form is essential for ensuring you stay injury free when performing Kettlebell exercises.
